Los Angeles will always have a special place in my heart. Every time I flew back, it felt like coming back home. It’s always exciting as I longed for the memories I had had in the past several years. It’s a place where I had grown so much, emotionally. Seeing friends and familiar faces was the best thing that happened to my trip this time around. Continue reading
When it comes to one of those major road blocks in life, a little getaway from the daily chaos is all we need.
I’ve never really been watching the sun rise at such a beautiful place…it changed my perception of many, many things that have been bothering me.
The breathtaking view made me feel out of the world.
Walk on…I believe in myself.
Actually, not all. Just one–the polka-dotted one.:)
I am always super busy the evening before the flight and today is no different. On top of that, for some reason, my flight always leaves early, too. I have to leave as early as 4 AM tomorrow. Still, can’t wait to travel again. More photos to come.
They say the good times fly by fast, and so does my January. I could not believe the end of January is already here. Spending most of this month abroad, I found myself become more focused and re-energized. Though traveling intercontinental is somehow tiring, the mental benefit from it is rewarding.

Hello from Utica! It’s been quite a journey to get here with the long drive and all. The cab drivers from O’hare didn’t even know where the park is. Although it does feel like we are now trapped in the middle of nowhere, I have been enjoying my time here –because of the people. More updates to come.

I’m ready to go home and resume my normal life–but it will be only for a couple of days, and I will be on board again in no time next week.
Got online uploading photos and wishing my laptop battery lasted a bit longer. Maybe I should considering getting the Magsafe airline adapter. I disliked this flight attendant who mistakenly opened a soda can and split it over me and did not bother to say a word of apology. All she cared for was saying sorry to the old man sitting next to me and spoke loudly in a way that almost sounded like she was flirting with him. Uh, I shouldn’t have complaint but I hate it when people who supposedly had a service mind just couldn’t care less.
Anyhow, here is my another discovery: the iPad station at the JFK!
I am not a big fan of Macy’s myself, but I was curious to check out the store just to see how large it is. The numbers of floors seem endless and the crowd was incredible. I almost forgot it’s the Memorial Day tomorrow, and usually people come out and shop for deals on the long weekend like this. There’s no doubt New York City is the heaven for the shoppers and the foodies. The city continuously makes me smile. Continue reading
